Hackers constantly attacking government offices

The US government has recently announced that many government agencies have experience security breaches of many levels. It's no surprise that such agencies are constantly under attack, be it by hackers looking to gain notoriety or by spy agencies from foreign governments around the world. What comes as surprise is the amount of successful attacks and the depth of such security breaches, there's got to be a paradigm shift in a place that filled with bureaucracy to ensure the American people that critical infrastructure sectors are protected from local and foreign cyber-attacks. We live in a digital world where computers systems are used as weapons, we should be ready to implement the right solutions, technical and non-technical, to protect our core infrastructure.
